Absolutely. Exuma has an exceptionally low crime rate, and the residents are very friendly. You can learn a great deal about the island by chatting with them.

Yes! The Grand Isle Resort restaurants (Palapa Grill, 23 North, & Sandy Toes) are open to the public. Our guests can walk-in or make a reservation and go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, to any restaurant on their property.

The golf cart may be driven around the community – around the golf course, marina, Grand Isle Resort, Beach Access points for Emerald Bay and Marina beach, to the Grand Isle Resort restaurants (Palapa Grill, 23 North, Sandy Toes), and to Salt Restobar and 242 Liquor store in the Emerald Isle Plaza.
You cannot drive the golf carts on Queens Highway or any further than the Emerald Isle Plaza (you cannot drive it to go downtown or to Cocoplum Bistro restaurant, etc). -
Renting a car is highly recommended. If you plan to explore the island, or go downtown, it is the easiest way to explore and get around!

In Exuma - regardless of where you stay - most private chefs charge about $50–$140 per person, per meal on average. This usually includes the cost of groceries and a full menu (for example, a starter, main, and dessert, or a larger spread for breakfast or lunch).
Keep in mind, this is just a general guideline for budgeting. Final pricing depends on: group size, menu requests, cost of food, and style of service.
We always recommend sharing your preferences directly with the chef to receive an accurate quote tailored to your needs.
Our concierge can assist with booking a chef – we have a listed of trusted and reliable chefs that we work with and we are happy to assist with menu creation and the booking process!

Plan ahead: Restaurant reservations are recommended for peak seasons, particularly for large groups! We recommend booking two months in advance for most dining and boat reservations.

In our villas, we provide a set of weights, yoga mats, and resistance bands. We plan to build a gym dedicated for our guests in the future. Until then, gyms are limited on the island of Great Exuma.

Our concierge can assist booking trusted massage therapists to bring massage tables to the villa, and you can have a massage on the pool deck overlooking the ocean!

Yes! We are located within two security gates that each have 24 hour security.

Yes, we are open to any ideas! Please let us know all the details in an email to info@emeraldclubexuma.com, such as number of guests, where ceremony would be, where reception would be, etc.
If we have multiple villas booked and all the guests stay with us, we are more likely to allow for a special event!

You can book directly on our website, or email us at info@emeraldclubexuma.com, and we can email you a booking invoice!
You can pay by all credit cards online, and we require a 50% deposit to secure the dates. The remaining 50% is due 14 days before check-in.
Cancellations can be made for a refund up to 30 days before check-in. A security deposit of $2000 is automatically charged to the card on file two days before check-in as an authorization (but does not settle unless there is an issue found), and released a few days after check-out.

Yes! We are proud to be a Premier Host on VRBO, and Superhost on Airbnb. These booking platforms add extra fees to the overall booking cost, but we are happy to offer these platforms for those who prefer to use them.
